Choreographer and digital creator Dhanashree Verma recently shared details about her marriage to Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, revealing that their relationship faced challenges almost immediately. She mentioned that the leg-spinner was unfaithful just two months after their wedding in December 2020.

In a conversation with actor Kubbra Sait, Dhanashree revealed that her marriage to Chahal was a mistake. “I caught him just after two months,” she said.

The couple initially met through online dance sessions during the Covid-19 lockdown. However, they mutually decided to file for divorce in February this year, and their marriage ended in March. Dhanashree confirmed that the process was swift.

“It happened quickly because it was a mutual decision. My parents taught me to only explain to those who are important,” she shared on the podcast.

Although the marriage lasted less than three years, she has since prioritised her life.

“Even though we were mentally prepared, I became emotional. I started crying uncontrollably in front of everyone. I couldn’t put my feelings into words at that moment. He (Chahal) left first.”
