Hyderabad, 03 October (Read News). The second day of the fourth season of the RR Cable Prime Volleyball League operated by Skapia released at the Gachibovli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, Bangalore Torpedose made a comeback from 15-9, 11–15, 13-15, 17-15, 15-9. Jalen Penroz was adjudged the Player of the Match. Indian badminton star Satwiksairaj Rankireddy was also present supporting Torpedose.
Sethu started the magic of his service, while Libero Ramanathan of Goa was struggling to take the ball. Matt West gave efficiently to him and maintained an option for attack, while Penroz and Joel Benjamin gave a strong spike to the torpedose.
Chirag’s aggressive game raised a ray of hope among the fans of Goa. Goa started catching rhythm with the cross attack of Nathanial Dicinson and veteran Jeffrey Menzel. Goa’s upper hand over the court became heavy on the court after winning two consecutive super points.
Torpedose continued to play a loud game, but Goa also equaled him. Rohit Yadav’s Super Service shocked Torpedose, while Prince stopped Bengaluru by putting a strong block and the guards took the lead.
Penroz’s retaliation and Sarva brought Torpedose back to the match. Nitin Minhas showed amazing with his blocking and pulled the match to the fifth set.
After this, Joel started attacking from the left side of the court, while Mujib, along with Penroz, gave Bengaluru his first win in defense. Torpedose scored two points by winning the match 3-2, while Goa got one point.
