Melbourne, 4 October (Read News).

Australian all -rounder beews will not be able to play against Queensland in the opening match of Tasmania’s Sheffield Shield season due to an ankle injury. However, this injury is not considered serious.

Webster’s fitness will be re-examined before the One-Day Cup match against Queensland on Thursday. The second round of the Shield will start from October 15, where Tasmania is scheduled to face Western Australia.

Webster had targeted to play all four shield matches of Tasmania before Ashes this season. Might starting a great Test career, he has scored four half -centuries in seven matches, but before the series against England, there is a discussion of pressure in his place in the team.

Meanwhile, Cameron Green is expected to be ready to bowl completely. According to the team combination, the green can be maintained in the top order or they can be sent back in the lower order.

Webster said before the season, “I have got a chance because of Greeni bowling again. I would like both of us to play together in the team. If you are scoring runs in the top six batsmen and can also bowl, then it is a bonus for the team.”

He further said, “Greeny is a great batsman. I want him to perform well in the top order and I keep scoring runs at number 6. In this way we can win the match for Australia by contributing from both balls and fielding.”

Webster started the domestic season with a great performance in the One-Day Cup, where he took five wickets in two matches and scored 81 off 95 balls in the second match against Victoria.
