Bernard Julian was a member of the Caribbean team to win the 1975 cricket's first ODI World Cup. He also played an important role in the West Indies victory in that World Cup. He took 4 wickets for 20 runs against Sri Lanka on the group stage, while in the semi -finals, he again took 4 wickets for 27 runs, repeating his performance against New Zealand. Apart from this, in the final of the 1975 World Cup, he played an important role in his team's victory in 37 balls against Australia.
