He took 9 wickets in 3 innings of 3 matches of the tournament, in which his bowling average was 15.11. During this period, he also achieved the feat of taking 5 wickets in an innings.

Credit for success given to Rohit

Varun Chakraborty has given the credit of this success in Champions Trophy 2025 completely to Rohit Sharma.
