RO-KO in October: ODI captaincy was snatched from Rohit Sharma. Rohit got a place in the ODI team against Australia, but only as a player.

Virat Kohli has also been selected in the ODI team of Australia tour. Now people are saying that this could be the last series of Rohit-Virat. This is being named the farewell series of these two players. But, amidst these speculations, one big reality is that the month is October. Now where do Rohit-Virat stay in October?

Rohit-Virat will not stop

Now you might be wondering what can happen in October? What is the meaning here of Rohit-Virat not stopping? So it means big innings of Rohit-Virat. Rohit Sharma has been playing international cricket for 19 years and Virat Kohli for 17 years.

During this period, out of all the big innings that both of them have played in their career, the maximum number of big scores that both of them have scored was in October itself.

Be it Rohit or Virat… scored the most centuries in October

In international cricket, the big innings of Rohit-Virat means their son-in-law's century. Rohit Sharma, who debuted in 2006, has so far scored 49 centuries in his career. Out of these, he has scored maximum 11 centuries in the month of October.

Same is the condition of Virat Kohli also.

Kohli, who debuted in 2008, has scored 82 centuries in his international career so far. Now, out of these, he scored 11 centuries each in the months of December, January and February. But, maximum 16 centuries have been scored in October.

ODI series from Australia also in October

Now, when Rohit and Virat score the most centuries in the month of October, then how will both of them stay in Australia, where all three matches of the ODI series are to be played in October. The ODI series between India and Australia is starting from October 19. The first match is to be played in Perth.

The second ODI will be held in Adelaide on 23 October. Whereas the third and last ODI will be played in Sydney on 25 October.

It is clear that Ro-Ko i.e. Rohit-Virat have the license to attack the bowlers. Now it remains to be seen how both of them fare in Australia this October. If it thunders, then one thing is sure that the debate about his playing or not playing in the 2027 World Cup may become more heated.
