For the third match in a row in the Women’s ODI World Cup, India lost a flurry of wickets in the middle overs to leave the lower order with work to do to put up a par score on the board.
The team lost six wickets for 47 runs after a fifty-run opening partnership between Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal. The onus will now be on the bowlers to defend this target.
