Jayden Seales Fined: Even in the second Test match against India, the condition of West Indies looked very bad. In reply to Team India's 518 runs in the first innings, West Indies team was bundled out for only 248 runs, after which Team India forced them to follow on. Not only was the team's performance poor, West Indies fast bowler Jaden Seales suffered a double loss. Firstly, he did not get any success in the first innings and due to one of his actions, the Windies pacer had to face ICC punishment. ICC fined Seals due to his aggressive behavior on the first day of the Delhi Test match.

ICC announced punishment on Jaden Seales on the third day of the second Test match between India and West Indies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. While the West Indies batsmen were showing some strength on the field in their second innings on the third day, at the same time Seals was punished by the ICC. This action against the young West Indies fast bowler was due to his actions on the first day of the match, when he hit the ball to Team India's opener Yashasvi Jaiswal.

In the 29th over of the Indian innings, Jaiswal played a ball from Seals back towards the bowler. Seales caught the ball himself and then he converted his frustration of not getting a wicket into aggressive behavior. As soon as Seals stopped the ball, he threw it back towards Jaiswal, which hit the pads of the Indian batsman. Although Seals immediately raised his hands and apologized, the umpires complained about this behavior to the match referee. When the referee informed the West Indies pacer about the allegations against him, he refused to accept his mistake.

In such a situation, Jaden Seals' hearing was held in front of the referee, where the Caribbean player presented his defense. He said that Jaiswal was out of the crease and hence he was trying to run him out. But the referee showed him replays of the incident and told him that his action was a violation of Article 2.9 of the ICC Code of Conduct. This article refers to throwing the ball or any other object in a dangerous manner at or towards a player, which is considered against the laws.

Due to this, Jaden Seals was fined 25 percent of the match fee. That means 25% of the match fee they receive will be deducted. Not only this, he was also given one demerit point as a second punishment. This is his second demerit point in the last 24 months. After two more points he will be banned for one match.
