India registered its highest Women’s ODI World Cup score during its encounter against Australia in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.
Fifties from Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal, along with contributions from the middle order, helped the side surpass its previous record of 317 for eight against the West Indies in 2022.
Sunday was also only the first instance of a team scoring 300-plus against Australia in the Women’s 50-over World Cup.
