Delhi: In the 13th match of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 played in Visakhapatnam, Australia registered a thrilling victory by defeating India by 3 wickets. India’s innings

The Indian women’s cricket team displayed excellent batting against Australia and scored a brilliant score. The start of the team’s innings was very strong, the credit for which goes to the opening batsmen Pratika Rawal and Smriti Mandhana. Both of them showed a wonderful combination of restraint and aggression and made an important partnership of 155 runs for the first wicket. Pratika Rawal played a brilliant inning of 75 runs, while Smriti Mandhana added 80 runs to put the team in a strong position. After this, the Indian bowlers took wickets intermittently, Ashley Gardner was out in the 44th over and Sophie Molineux was out in the 46th over. Despite this, in the end Ellyse Perry batted brilliantly and scored unbeaten 47 runs and led Australia to victory by 3 wickets. With this, Australia successfully completed the biggest run chase in ODI in women’s cricket history.
