Indian wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul has added a luxurious MG M9 to his car collection, just days before the ODI series against Australia. KL Rahul was seen standing near the INR 70 lakh car.

On the cricketing front, Rahul recently wrapped up a strong Test series against the West Indies. He finished as India’s second-highest run-scorer, tallying 196 runs in two matches.

His impressive run included a century in the opening Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, his first on Indian soil since 2016. He followed it up with a composed 58* in the final innings of the second Test in Delhi, guiding India to a seven-wicket victory while chasing a modest total of 121.

Rahul is expected to continue as the team’s wicketkeeper in the upcoming ODIs in Australia, despite Dhruv Jurel’s presence in the squad. Rahul has remained a key figure in India’s ODI setup, earning praise for his contributions with the bat and gloves during major tournaments like the 2023 World Cup and Champions Trophy 2025.

On Wednesday, 15 October, the players and support team departed for Australia from Delhi. The ODI series will commence at Perth’s Optus Stadium, with the next matches scheduled in Adelaide and Sydney. India and Australia will also compete in five T20Is.
