NEW DELHI: The ODI series between India and Australia holds huge significance. Both teams are looking for possible transitions, and the series holds the key for plenty of players who would love to make it big for them.
It marks the return of Indian cricketing giants in Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who have plundered plenty of runs against possibly their favorite opposition.

The rivalry between both the teams is fierce. In recent years, the teams have had a few historical battles and there have been numerous champion batsmen who have plundered against their rivals.
Ahead of the three-match series which begins on October 19 in Perth, here is the list of batters who have scored most runs in the ODIs when India and Australia have played against each other:
The list is led by one of the greatest batsmen of all time, Sachin Tendulkar. Australia used to be the most dominant team in his era, yet the master scored runs in heaps against them. He scored more than 3000 runs against Australia, and is the only batsman to do so. Some of his famous innings include the desert storm and the century in CB Series finals in 2008.

His most memorable knocks against them include his fastest century back in 2013, and the match winning knock in the semifinals of the recently concluded Champions Trophy.
