“Domestic cricket will benefit” – Amit Mishra
Former Indian spinner Amit Mishra believes that Rohit and Kohli should participate in domestic cricket to remain match fit. Speaking to ANI, Mishra said, “Rohit and Kohli have to remain match fit. I know that nowadays everyone pays attention to fitness and it is very important for the Indian team to stay fit. They are working hard and it is visible, but match fitness is something different.”
He further said, “I am a little worried about his performance because he is a senior player. Hopefully we will be able to see him in the next World Cup. There is still time, but he will have to maintain his rhythm by playing cricket continuously. If he gets a chance to play in domestic cricket, it will be beneficial for him as well as the Indian team.”
