Team India is currently on Australia tour. An ODI series is being played between the two teams. Amidst this series, an Indian player has suddenly announced his retirement.

This player made his debut in international cricket for India on 15 June 2014 and became the first cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir to play for India. But this player has now decided to leave all formats of cricket.

This Indian player retired

Parvez Rasool, the first cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir to play ODI match for India, has announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. This 36-year-old all-rounder informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) about his decision on 18 October. Parvez Rasool played his first ODI against Bangladesh on 15 June 2014 in Mirpur.

In that match, he took two wickets for 60 runs in 10 overs. In his only T20 match played against England in Kanpur on 26 January 2017, he scored 5 runs and took the wicket of Eoin Morgan for 32 runs.

Rasool's domestic career was very brilliant. He scored 5648 runs and took 352 wickets in 95 first-class matches. Apart from this, he also played 164 List A and 71 T20 matches. He also received the 'Lala Amarnath Trophy' award for the best all-rounder in Ranji Trophy twice (2013/14 and 2017/18). At the same time, in IPL he played a total of 11 matches for Pune Warriors India, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

We defeated some big teams and also performed well in Ranji Trophy and other BCCI affiliated tournaments.
