Virat Kohli-Rohit Sharma: Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were failing in Perth ODI and batting coach Sitanshu Kotak has given an important statement on this issue. He said that it is not right to interfere in the batting practice of Virat and Rohit. According to Kotak, one should avoid interfering in their process unless it is absolutely necessary. The batting coach also said that even though Virat-Rohit were failing in Perth, it did not mean that they were not in rhythm.

Also, Kotak cited the weather as a major reason for Team India's defeat in the first ODI. According to him, the batsmen faced problems due to frequent stoppage of the game.

Sitanshu Kotak's big statement on Virat-Rohit

Sitanshu Kotak held a press conference in Adelaide and during this he was asked whether the form of Rohit and Kohli was looking bad, then he said, 'I don't think so. He has played IPL. The preparation has been very good. I think the problems came because of the weather. Had Australia come to bat, the situation would have been similar. When there is interruption four-five times and every two overs you go in and come out, then it is not easy.

When Sitanshu Kotak was asked whether Virat-Rohit needed the guidance of a batting coach, Kotak said that he believed that unless absolutely necessary, there should be minimal interference.

Virat-Rohit in good rhythm

The batting coach believes that both Rohit and Virat are in good form and have batted well in the nets. Team India practiced vigorously in Adelaide on Tuesday and Rohit-Virat looked good. Let us tell you that Rohit and Virat batted for an hour in the nets. Virat Kohli could not open his account in Perth ODI and Rohit Sharma scored only 8 runs.

Now it remains to be seen how Virat-Rohit perform in Adelaide. The second ODI will be played in Adelaide from 9 am on Thursday. If Team India does not win this match, the series will be lost.
