New Delhi, 22 October (Read News). The Election Commission is going to organize a two-day conference of Chief Electoral Officers of all the states and union territories on 22 and 23 October. In this conference, issues to special intensive revision to voter list will be discussed in detail.

According to the Commission, the conference will be organized at the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDM) in Dwarka, New Delhi.

According to officials, during this period, measures to make the process of upcoming voter list revision more effective and transparent will be discussed. Officials have also been asked to share experiences and challenges of their respective states.

It is noteworthy that after the successful completion of Voter Intensive Verification (SIR) in Bihar, the Election Commission has talked about implementing it across the country and has said that the process in this regard has started.
