Ranchi: Minister of Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department Sudivya Kumar, Secretary Manoj Kumar, Sports Director Shekhar Jamuar and General Secretary of Jharkhand Olympic Association Madhu Kant Pathak paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residential office on Wednesday. On this occasion, he handed over an invitation letter to the Chief Minister to attend as the chief guest the inaugural ceremony of the fourth South Asian Athletics Federation (SAF) Senior Athletics Championship to be held at the Birsa Munda Football Stadium in Morhabadi, capital Ranchi from 24 to 26 October. The inauguration ceremony will be held on October 24 at 6 pm. The Sports Minister informed the Chief Minister about the preparations for the SAIF Senior Athletics Competition being organized in Ranchi.
