Delhi: After taking a 2-0 lead in the 3-match ODI series against India, Australia has made several changes in its squad for the T20 series. The team’s star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is about to return to the team after recovering from injury. He will play in the last three matches of the T20 series against India. Maxwell suffered a wrist injury during net practice before the T20 series against New Zealand in September.

Australia made changes in the squad

Western Australia’s young fast bowler Mahali Beardman has got a place in the Australian team for the first time. He has also been included in the team for the T20 series and there is a possibility of his debut.

The team management has instructed Marnus Labuschagne, Josh Hazlewood and Sean Abbott to play Sheffield Shield matches, as these three players will prepare for the Ashes Test series against England starting on November 21.

Many changes have been made in the T20 team. Glenn Maxwell, Ben Dwarshuis, Josh Philip and Mahali Beardman have been added. At the same time, Josh Hazlewood and Sean Abbott will be out of the team after the completion of their respective matches.

Josh Philippe, who replaced Maxwell in New Zealand and was later included in the ODI team due to Josh Inglis’ injury, has now returned to the T20 team. Josh Inglis is expected to return for the last ODI match to be held in Sydney.

There is still uncertainty about Pat Cummins’ availability in the Ashes due to his back injury. At the same time, Cameron Green is slowly returning to bowling after surgery.
