Chairperson of Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission, Dr. Babita Singh Chauhan visited Madrasa Jamia Imam Jafar Sadiq and Jamia Bintul Huda Niswa on Saturday and established direct communication with the girl students there. During his dialogue session, he inspired the girl students to move ahead in life by giving them information about education, security, self-reliance and rights.

Dr. Chauhan said that educated women are the backbone of the society. If daughters are educated, not only their lives will change, but the entire family and society will become progressive. She called upon the girl students to work hard to realize their dreams and bring positive change in the society.

The Chairperson of the Women’s Commission also discussed with the students their experiences, education system and challenges. He said that the state government is continuously making efforts for women’s safety and empowerment. Information was also given about ongoing schemes for girls like Mission Shakti, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao and women’s helpline 1090, so that girl students can get help in any situation.

On this occasion, the teachers of the Madrasa welcomed Dr. Chauhan by presenting him a bouquet and praised the initiative of the Women’s Commission and said that such dialogue programs instill confidence and awareness among the girl students. At the end of the program, Dr. Chauhan wished for a bright future for the girl students and said that every daughter has immense power within herself, there is just a need to recognize it and make efforts in the right direction.
