Mirzapur, 25 October (Read News). Mirzapur district has once again performed excellently in the ongoing Farmer Registry campaign in the interest of farmers. Sadar tehsil of Mirzapur has got first place among 353 tehsils of the state. On this achievement, the Sadar Tehsil team was honored in the review meeting held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Pawan Kumar Gangwar in the Collectorate Auditorium on Saturday.

On this occasion, MLA Madihan Ramashankar Singh Patel and the District Magistrate honored the Deputy District Magistrate, Tehsildar and Block Development Officers who did excellent work in the Farmer Registry by giving them citations.

In the meeting, the District Magistrate instructed the Revenue Accountants that at least five farmer registries should be done every day and it should be monitored at the tehsil level. Also said that along with Farmer Registry, real time Khatauni work should also be completed on time. He directed that five farmer registries should be made every day through Panchayat assistants in every Gram Panchayat and it should be reviewed by ADO Panchayat and ADO Agriculture. Agriculture department officials were also given a target of registering 25 farmers every day.

On this occasion, Chief Development Officer Vishal Kumar, Deputy District Magistrate Sadar Gulab Chandra, Deputy Director Agriculture Vikesh Patel, all Block Development Officers and officials of departments were present.
