Along with partner-in-crime Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma secured the win for India against Australia, chasing down the total with ease and scoring an unbeaten knock of 121 runs en route to his 33rd ODI century. and 50th International century overall.

When he realized that he still had the helmet on,e then asked sidearm thrower Dayananda Garani for his cap. While all this unfolded, a few of his teammates, including the new skipper Shubman Gill, were seen bursting out in laughter.

In the end, KL Rahul, in a heartwarming gesture, gave his own Team India cap to Rohit Sharma, who removed his helmet to put it on before strutting towards the post-match presentation dias.
