Team India’s opener Pratika Rawal was taken off the field after suffering an injury during the last league match against Bangladesh at Navi Mumbai on October 26.

The incident happened on the final delivery of the 21st over when Bangladesh batter Sharmin Akter hit the ball towards the midwicket area. Rawal attempted a slide to stop the ball, but she landed awkwardly, leading to an ankle twist.

She was in a lot of pain, and a stretcher was brought, but the player was able to walk off the field. There is no official update on her injury. Rawal has been magnificent with the bat. The Indian team would hope that she recovers before the semi-final against Australia.

The 25-year-old gas amassed 308 and is only behind Smriti Mandhana, who leads the batting charts with 331 runs.
