Mohammed Shami Fifer: Even though Mohammed Shami is not getting a place in Team India, this player has created a storm with his performance. Mohammed Shami bowled brilliantly in the second match of Ranji Trophy and gave his team Bengal a one-sided victory against Gujarat. Bengal defeated Gujarat by a huge margin of 141 runs and Mohammed Shami became the hero of this victory. This right-arm fast bowler surprised everyone by single-handedly eliminating half of the Gujarat team in just 10 overs in the second innings. Shami took a total of 8 wickets in the match and became the hero of the match. In the second innings, Gujarat wicketkeeper Urvil Patel scored a brilliant century but he could not prevent his team's defeat against Shami.

Shami's magic

it is not that Mohammed Shami Has given a strong performance in this match only. This experienced right-arm bowler also shone in the last match against Uttarakhand. Shami had taken 7 wickets in that match. Shami has so far taken 15 wickets in 2 matches in Ranji Trophy. This performance of Shami clearly proves that he is match fit and has sent a message to Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar that now it will not be so easy to keep him out.

Will you get a chance in the South Africa test series?

This performance of Mohammed Shami can get him a chance in the Test series against South Africa. The Test series between India and South Africa is to start from November 14 and the first match of the series is to be held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. This is the same ground where Shami has just taken 15 wickets in two Ranji Trophy matches. Mohammed Shami has not been selected in Team India since winning the Champions Trophy. Recently, Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar had given this statement that if Shami had been fit, he would have definitely gone to Australia. On the other hand, Shami claims that if he was not fit then how would he have played in Ranji Trophy? It is clear that Shami has proved his fitness and form. Now it remains to be seen whether he returns to the team or not.
