Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were being criticized a lot after their lackluster comeback in the opening matches of the ODI series against Australia. Kohli could not even open his account in the first two matches. However, Rohit picked up his pace in the second match and was the top scorer of Team India in the last two matches. In the last ODI match, Rohit played an unbeaten inning of 121 runs, while Kohli scored 74 runs. Both of them also made an important partnership of 168 runs for the third wicket, on the basis of which India defeated Australia by 9 wickets.
