India vs Australia, Playing XI: The first T20 between India and Australia has started in Canberra. Australia won the toss of this match and decided to bowl first. After the toss, India and Australia announced their respective playing eleven. The Indian team has not kept its number 1 bowler in the playing eleven. Harshit Rana has been included in the team in his place.

Team India excluded Arshdeep Singh

By saying number 1 bowler of the Indian team, here we mean Arshdeep Singh, who has taken the most wickets for India in T20 International. Arshdeep has taken 101 wickets in the 65 T20Is played so far. He is the first bowler from India to take 100 plus T20I wickets. Apart from this, he also has experience of playing T20 in Australia. Despite this, not selecting him in the playing eleven of the T20I team is beyond comprehension.

In the first T20 against Australia, Team India did not give a chance to Arshdeep Singh and played Harshit Rana, who will be seen playing T20 for the first time in Australia. Apart from this, Harshit does not have as much experience of playing T20I matches as Arshdeep Singh.

These five will play in Australia for the first time

Apart from Harshit Rana, these 5 players who were included in the playing eleven for the first T20 will also be seen playing in Australia for the first time. The names of those players are Abhishek Sharma, Shubhman Gill, Shivam Dubey, Varun Chakraborty.
