Bokaro, 9 October (Read). Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha suddenly reached Baba Vaidyanath Jan Seva Samiti Old Age Seva Ashram located in Solangdih of Chas Municipal Corporation area on Wednesday. On the foundation day of the organization, he met the elderly people living in the ashram, inquired about their well-being and listened carefully to their life experiences.

While interacting with the elderly, DC said that you all are the foundation of our society. You have spent the most beautiful part of your life in the service of family, society and country. Now it is our responsibility to protect your happiness and honor.

He took information to health, food and other facilities from the elderly people and assured all possible help. The atmosphere of the old age home was filled with emotions with the arrival of DC. Someone said emotionally, “Son, after a long time, someone has come to inquire about our condition,” while someone said smilingly, “When you came, it felt as if someone of our own has come to see us.” Expressing gratitude for this unexpected arrival of the DC, the Ashram Managing Committee said that his arrival has infused new energy and intimacy among the old people. This time spent in the old age home was memorable for both the DC and the old people.
