Phoebe Litchfield scored a hundred during the Women’s World Cup 2025 second semi-final between host nation India and Australia, at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Thursday.

The southpaw amassed the fastest ton in a knockout match of the World Cup, reaching there in 77 balls, laced with 17 fours and 1 six. She’s the youngest, by four years, to achieve the record.

She was dismissed after posting 119 runs off 93 balls, with the help of 17 fours and 3 sixes.

The 22-year-old opening batter accumulated her third ODI century, her second against India and first in the ongoing global tournament.

She is the fourth Aussie batter to reach the three-digit mark in this edition of the World Cup after Ashleigh Gardner, Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney.

She scored her maiden ton against the Women in Blue in 2024 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai in a three-match ODI series.
