The 3rd T20I between Bangladesh and West Indies in the ongoing West Indies tour of Bangladesh 2025is set to take place at the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram. This is the final match of the three-match T20I series where West Indies currently leads 2-0 after winning the first two encounters.
West Indies have secured the T20I series with wins in the first two matches played at this venue. The visitors batted first in both games, setting par scores which Bangladesh failed to chase effectively under scoreboard pressure.
The Bangla Tigers won the preceding ODI series 2-1 but have struggled with the bat in T20s. The West Indian side has shown better adaptation to the conditions, with their captain Shai Hope playing influential innings (46* off 28 balls and 55 off 36 balls in the first two games) and their spinner Akeal Hosein troubling the Bangladeshi batters with five wickets in the series so far at an economical rate.
With the series already clinched, West Indies will look to maintain their momentum and continue exploiting the conditions. Bangladesh, on the other hand, will be desperate to avoid a whitewash and will seek a strong batting performance to counter West Indies’ bowlers.

The Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram typically offers something for both batters and bowlers. Early on, the pitch aids fast bowlers with some movement and extra bounce, making an initial impact with the new ball. As the game progresses, spinners come into play with sharp turn and grip off the surface. Given the pitch behavior, teams winning the toss might prefer to bat first to exploit the spinners later in the innings
