India vs Australia, Melbourne T20I: In the second T20 being played in Melbourne between India and Australia, three incidents happened one after the other as soon as Shubman Gill came to the crease. All three incidents with the Indian opener happened in just 10 balls of his innings. There was a strong appeal in the match with Gill and on the very first ball of his innings. However, he was lucky to survive. After this, the third ball of the very first over of the match went straight and hit his head. It was lucky he was wearing a helmet. But, after being hit on the head by the ball, Shubman Gill could not keep himself safe at the crease for long. His innings ended in the next 7 balls.

Gill was examined after being hit on the head by the ball

Josh Hazlewood bowled the first over of the match and Indian innings in Melbourne T20. His third ball of this over went straight and hit the front part of Gill's helmet. According to the new rules of cricket, the team physio examines the batsman after the ball hits the helmet. And, the same happened in Gill's case in Melbourne also. During investigation, it was seen that Gill was not facing any problem in seeing or moving his head after being hit by the ball. But, nothing like this happened.

Hazlewood took the wicket of Gill

Shubman Gill started playing forward after the incident of the ball hitting his helmet. But his innings could not extend beyond 10 balls. Hazlewood dismissed him on the fourth ball of the third over. Facing 10 balls, Gill scored 5 runs in 10 balls.
