Lucknow: On Sunday, 28 April, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won by 9 wickets in the match played against Gujarat Titans (GT) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In this match, RCB's young batsman Will Jacques played a century and gave his team the third win of the season. However, Virat also scored a half-century in this match but after this he made a big revelation that if he had hit a six on the first ball of the 16th over, it would have been a big mistake.
Jacques played an unbeaten inning of 100 runs in this match and it was an amazing inning as he completed his first half century in 31 balls. However, he scored 50 runs in the next 10 balls and completed his century. After the end of the match, RCB has shared a video on its official X account, in which Kohli has given a big statement.

He said, “I was very angry when I did not hit a six on the first ball of the over, but when I saw that Will Jacques was on 94* with 1 run left, I said, thank God, I did not hit a six.” .”
Actually, this incident happened in the 16th over of Bengaluru's innings, when Gujarat's star spinner Rashid Khan came to bowl. Virat was at strike rate on the first ball of this over and he took one run on the first ball. After this, Jacques attacked Rashid in this over and he hit 4 sixes. He hit a six on the second and third ball of the over, followed by a four on the fourth ball. So on the fifth ball, another six came from his bat. Bengaluru needed one run to win on the last ball and Jacques needed 6 runs to complete his century.

Kohli also mentioned the same incident, when Jacques was on 94 runs and he needed 6 runs to complete his century. In such a situation, if Virat had hit a six on the first ball, Will would not have been able to complete his century. During this innings, the right-handed batsman faced 41 balls and played an unbeaten inning of 100 runs with the help of 5 fours and 10 sixes.
