Delhi: In the third T20 match played in Chattogram, West Indies achieved a spectacular victory by defeating Bangladesh. With this victory, West Indies won the T20 series against Bangladesh 3-0. Bangladesh started the match by winning the toss and batting first, but their team got bundled out for only 151 runs. Romario Shepard’s hat-trick was the biggest moment of this match, which completely affected Bangladesh’s innings.

Bangladesh did not have a good start. Tanjid Hasan scored a brilliant 89 runs in 62 balls and gave some relief to his team. But, apart from this, other batsmen could not contribute much. Saif Hasan scored 23 runs, Liton Das scored 6 runs and Parvez Hussain Emon scored 10 runs. Romario Shepard took 3 wickets, while Jason Holder and Khary Pierre also took 2 wickets each. The team’s total score was all out at 151 in 20 overs.

Easy victory for West Indies

West Indies had a bit of a difficult start and the team was stuck at 52/3, but Roston Chase and Akeem Auguste batted brilliantly. Chase scored 50 runs in 29 balls, while Auguste completed his first T20I fifty in 24 balls and helped the team score runs quickly. Amir Jangu also scored 34 runs and kept the team in a strong position. In the end, the pair of Roston Chase and Auguste took the team to the target with 19 balls remaining and West Indies won by 5 wickets.
