Lucknow: Former Indian batsman Navjot Singh Sidhu has named the young Indian player who bats against spinners like former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi. The surprising thing is that he has not taken the name of CSK's star player Shivam Dubey, who is in excellent form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Actually, Sidhu has chosen the young player of Gujarat Titans (GT) Shahrukh Khan and he believes that Shahrukh hits against the spinners in the same way as Afridi used to do.

This reaction of the former Indian legend has come at a time when Khan batted brilliantly in the match played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Seeing the way he hit sixes against the spinners of RCB, Sidhu has given a big statement during a conversation on Star Sports. Actually, he was asked that when you see Shahrukh batting against spin, who do you remember? On this he took Shahid's name.

He said, “The way Shahrukh Khan bats against spinners, Shahid Afridi also used to do the same. When Afridi played, it seemed as if a volcano had erupted because he used to hit big hits. Afridi would either get out early or if he stayed on the field, he would hit big sixes, especially against spin. Like him, Shahrukh also hits hits.”

Let us tell you that in this match against Bengaluru, the 28-year-old got a chance to bat at number 4 and he took full advantage of it.
