Women's World Cup 2025: What had never happened in the history of the Indian women's cricket team, was seen on the evening of 2 November. India won the Women's ODI World Cup title for the first time. It is not that opportunities were not given before. Even before, the Indian team had come close to winning the trophy twice in the years 2005 and 2017. But, after reaching the finals, he had to face defeat. But, for the third time, Harmanpreet Kaur's Team India did not make any mistake. ICC Chairman Jay Shah gave the World Cup trophy to Indian women for becoming champions. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur also touched Jai Shah's feet during the same time. Harmanpreet, performing Bhangra, arrives to collect the World Cup trophy from Jai Shah. But, what she does after that makes the video even more viral. Harmanpreet Kaur touches the feet of ICC Chairman Jay Shah before receiving the trophy. However, when she does this, Jai Shah is also seen stopping her.
Jay Shah not only handed over the World Cup trophy with his own hands, he also congratulated Harmanpreet Kaur and Company for their historic success through his ax handle.

The Indian team won the title of Women's ODI World Cup 2025 by defeating South Africa by 52 runs in the final match played in Navi Mumbai.
