Former England cricketer Anya Shrubsole will join Royal Challengers Bengaluru women’s team as the bowling coach ahead of the upcoming Women’s Premier League (WPL) season.

Over a 15-year international career, Shrubsole claimed 227 international wickets across the three formats.

Her crowning moment came in the 2017 World Cup, when her 6/46 derailed India’s chase in the final to give England its third title.

She was also the leading wicket-taker in the 2014 Women’s T20 World Cup, where England fell short in the final.

RCB won its maiden WPL title in 2024 but failed to make the playoffs in 2025.
