In the last one-two years in Team India, many players have got a chance in the Test format. Some new players have made their debut, some have retired and some were seen making a comeback after a long time. But amidst all this, there was one player who did not get a chance to debut even after being selected in the team. There was a lot of debate on this issue, but in a match before the Test series against South Africa, this player hit an ax on his own leg. This cricketer is Abhimanyu Easwaran, who failed to open the account in both the innings of a match.

Before the Test series between India and South Africa, an unofficial Test series is also going on between India A and South Africa A. This series started on 30 October, in which Rishabh Pant is captaining the team. Abhimanyu Easwaran did not get a chance in the first match but he was selected in the team in the second match. Easwaran had a chance to present another proof of his ability in front of the selectors but he completely missed this chance.

In the second match of the ongoing series in Bengaluru, Abhimanyu Easwaran was out twice within two days.

Actually, the team for the Test series was announced only after the first match was over, in which Abhimanyu Easwaran did not get a place. Earlier, he was not even selected in the Test series against West Indies.

But now Easwaran had a chance to prove the selectors' decision wrong by playing a big innings against South Africa A. This experienced batsman lost this opportunity in a very disappointing manner. After failing to score even a single run against South Africa A, the doors of Team India seem to be completely closed for this Bengal batsman.
