Delhi: IPL player Vipraj Nigam, resident of Barabanki, has received a threatening call from abroad. A woman tried to blackmail him and threatened to make the video viral. The incident happened on Sunday afternoon. After this, Vipraj lodged a complaint at Nagar Kotwali police station at around 4 pm.

Vipraj told that he and his family were continuously receiving calls from unknown international numbers. Threats were being made in these calls, due to which attempts were being made to harm his cricket career. Police have started investigation after receiving the complaint. Officials are examining call details and digital evidence and trying to find out where the call came from.

Vipraj and his family are troubled by this constant threat. He has demanded security and appropriate action from the authorities. Police said that the case is being investigated on priority and legal action will be taken after getting evidence.

Vipraj told that the woman called from an international number and made some demands and threatened to make the video viral. When he blocked the number, a call came again from another international number and he was threatened.
