Kanpur: Two girl students doing BBA from Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur went missing from the campus. Their bags were found in a park on the university campus. It’s been 48 hours since both of them went missing but no clue has been found yet. The police acted proactively on receiving information about the missing girls and immediately started investigation. Their last location was found at Jhakarkati bus stand, after which both their phones got switched off.
Two girls, residents of Shuklaganj of Unnao district and Guba Garden of Kalyanpur police station area, are studying second year BBA from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. Both the girls had reached college on Saturday. When both the girls did not reach their respective homes till late in the evening, the family members became worried and started searching.
During this time, when he reached the school premises, the bags of both the girl students were found in a park there. After this the family complained to Kalyanpur Police. When the police started scanning the CCTV footage, both the girl students were seen leaving the university. The last location of his phone was found to be Jharkati. Now police teams have started scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed around Jhakarkati bus stand.
ACP Kalyanpur Ranjit Kumar said that based on the complaint of the family members, the police has registered a case. After checking the CCTV camera, both of them were seen leaving the university on foot and going in an auto. The bags of both the girl students were found in a park inside the school premises. Call details of the phones of both the girl students have been obtained. The situation will become clear only after the report comes. At present, 5 police teams are busy searching for the girl students.
