Kabuni uses artificial intelligence and large language models to deliver personalized, data-driven coaching directly through a mobile phone or a Kabuni device. “Kabuni is an AI and large language model platform that learns from the game itself, drawing on decades of cricket data, player movement, and coaching knowledge to deliver personalized feedback,” the company said in a statement.

The platform analyzes every movement—from a cover drive to a bowling action—providing real-time insights and feedback via video, images, text, and voice. Developed in collaboration with Cambridge Design Partnership, a leader in sports innovation and human performance, Kabuni aims to make professional-level coaching accessible to all.

Ganguly, who has taken on the role of Kabuni’s Global Brand Ambassador, highlighted the platform’s mission:

“Quality coaching allows children to learn better, faster, and live healthier lives. This level of coaching was once reserved for professionals, but now it’s for everyone.”

While starting with cricket, Kabuni plans to expand into tennis, golf, badminton, table tennis, and other sports, creating a multi-sport ecosystem for performance, wellness, and community fitness.

“Cricket is not a sport in India, it is a religion,” Ganguly added. “Kabuni is the world’s first digital ecosystem that captures real-world play through sport, starting with cricket. It will bring play into learning and help every player discover the athlete within.”

Kabuni’s founder and CEO, Nimesh Patel, said the platform aligns with India’s growing sporting ambitions:

“India faces an amazing sporting future with the goals of the Fit India movement, the potential of the Commonwealth Games in 2030, and the Olympics in 2036. Kabuni pledges to inspire one billion Indians to move more, play together, and live healthier lives over the next decade.”

Additionally, Kabuni has pledged 1% of its India revenue to support grassroots sports development across the country.
