IND vs SA: Richa Ghosh equals record for most sixes in Women’s World Cups

India’s Richa Ghosh equalled the record for the most sixes hit in Women’s World Cups during the final of the 2025 edition against South Africa in Navi Mumbai on Sunday.

The wicketkeeper-batter struck two sixes in her innings to draw level with the tally of 12, jointly held by West Indies’ Deandra Dottin and South Africa’s Lizelle Lee.

Ahead of the summit clash, Harmanpreet Kaur held the Indian record with 11 sixes in eight innings.
