Harmanpreet Kaur broke the record for the most runs scored in Women’s ODI World Cup knockouts during the 2025 edition final between India and South Africa at D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Sunday.
The Indian skipper scored 331 runs in four knockout games, surpassing the previous record held by Australia’s Belinda Clark, who had 330 runs in seven matches.
The right-handed batter, however, was dismissed soon after, falling on 20 off 29 in the summit clash.
Her unbeaten 171 in the 2017 semifinal against Australia remains the highest score in a Women’s ODI World Cup knockout fixture.
