Uttar Pradesh achieved a strong victory in the fourth round of Ranji Trophy 2025-26. It defeated Nagaland team by an innings and 265 runs. The biggest hero of Uttar Pradesh's victory in this match was a 26-year-old bowler. This player showed wonders with the first bat and achieved the feat of scoring a century for the first time. Then he wreaked havoc in bowling also and made 5 batsmen his victims. Due to which the Uttar Pradesh team was successful in winning this match in a one-sided manner.

In this match played against Nagaland, the biggest hero of Uttar Pradesh's victory was fast bowler Shivam Mavi. Shivam Mavi first left his mark as a batsman in this match. Facing 87 balls in the first innings, he scored 101 runs at a strike rate of 116.09. With this, Shivam Mavi achieved the feat of scoring a century for the first time in his first class career. His memorable innings also included 10 fours and 5 sixes. Due to which Uttar Pradesh team managed to score 535 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in the first innings.
