Delhi: Indian cricket team’s star spinner Kuldeep Yadav has requested leave from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for his marriage in the last week of November. According to the report of Times of India, this request has come at a time when Kuldeep has been included in the playing eleven of the first Test against South Africa. After the current two-match Test series, 3 ODI and 5 T20 matches are also to be played between India and South Africa. The second test match will be played in Guwahati from 22nd November.

The wedding is scheduled for the last week of November.

Were released from T20 series

Last week, the team management had released Kuldeep from the T20 team against Australia, so that he could concentrate on preparing for the South Africa Test. Kuldeep also played the India-A vs South Africa-A match, in which he got only one wicket. It is noteworthy that Kuldeep has so far taken 68 Test wickets at an average of 21.69.

Four spinners in India’s playing eleven

Taking a surprising decision in the match being played at Eden Garden, India has included four spin bowlers in its playing eleven. Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja and Akshar Patel have got a chance in the team. This selection is different from India’s normal strategy and can have a significant impact on the outcome of the match. Sundar is likely to bat in the top order after Sai Sudarshan is out.
