Delhi: The meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is going on in Ahmedabad. According to a report in RevSportz, selection committee chairman Ajit Agarkar and the rest of the panel members have gathered in Mumbai and discussions are going on. In such a situation, the list of 15 players going to West Indies and United States of America (USA) to play ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will be finalized soon.
Meanwhile, the biggest discussion is on who will be the main wicketkeeper of the Indian team in the upcoming major ICC tournament. After a stellar performance so far in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024), Rishabh Pant is back to his best performance, where he has scored 398 runs in 11 matches. During this period, the captain of Delhi Capitals (DC) has scored 3 half-centuries. His best individual score was against Gujarat Titans (GT), when he scored an unbeaten 83*.

At the same time, Sanju Samson is also in excellent form in the current IPL. He has performed well as captain for Rajasthan Royals (RR). The right-handed batsman has scored 385 runs in 9 matches at an average of 77, which includes 4 fifties. On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain KL Rahul is playing the role of opening batsman for his team. He has scored 378 runs in 9 matches at an average of 42. Rahul has also scored 3 half-centuries during this period.
Now the question arises that who will play the role of the main wicketkeeper batsman for the blue jersey team in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

Ishaan Kishan: 212 runs in 9 matches with a strike rate of 165.62 with one half-century.
Dinesh Karthik: 172 runs with two fifties at a strike rate of 209.75 in 6 matches.
