New phase of cold begins in UP, air becomes poisonous with fog…alert issued

Lucknow: North-westerly winds are blowing in UP, which are bringing moisture with them. Due to this the cold has increased. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a further decrease of 1 to 3 degrees Celsius in the maximum and minimum temperatures in the coming 7 days. Due to which the cold will increase and fog will also increase in the morning and evening.

If we talk about the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry in all the districts of the state. There was light and moderate fog at some places in the morning and evening. The lowest minimum visibility recorded in Kanpur was 400 meters.

Air Quality Index levels in different areas of Lucknow: Bhimrao Ambedkar University 164, Gomti Nagar 138, Kukrel Picnic Spot 147, Lalbagh 249, Talkatora 293 air quality index was recorded. Among all these places, the air quality index of Tal Katora is the worst. The air here remains poisonous.

People are facing difficulties in breathing. Due to the presence of industrial area in Talkatora area and smoke emitted from vehicles, the level of pollution has increased significantly. Along with this, there is a lot of pollution around the assembly also. Vehicle smoke has made the air poisonous. Its worst impact is on the elderly and heart patients.

The maximum temperature recorded was 28 degrees Celsius, which is 1 degree Celsius less than normal. The minimum temperature recorded was 11 degrees Celsius, which is 2 degrees Celsius less than normal.

The weather will be like this in Lucknow today: According to the Meteorological Department, there will be light fog in the morning and evening on Saturday. The sky will be clear during the day, the maximum temperature will be 28 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 11 degrees Celsius.

Kanpur coldest: Kanpur city remained the coldest district on Friday. The minimum temperature recorded here was 8 degrees Celsius, which is 5.6 degrees Celsius less than normal. The highest temperature of 29.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Kanpur Dehat district, which is normal.

Due to the drop in the temperature of the state due to the cold winds coming from the western Himalayan regions, the day and night temperatures have remained much below normal for the last few days. In the coming 2-3 days, the minimum temperature is likely to remain on average 3-5 °C below normal, with it falling below 10 °C at some places, creating conditions of partial cold wave (MARGINAL COLD WAVE) during night and morning. But its effect is likely to disappear due to sunlight during the day.
