Among wicketkeeper batsmen, only Adam Gilchrist and Andy Flower have more centuries than him. Pant has the highest number of runs (3515) among the current active wicketkeepers.

Pant’s performance in the field of captaincy has been average so far. He took command of the team in 57 matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL), in which there were 29 wins and 27 losses.
