Mumbai Indians and Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah, gave a young fan a lifetime memory with a heartwarming gesture at the Ekana Stadium during the match against Lucknow Super Giants.
The official Twitter account of Mumbai Indians posted a video of Bumrah graciously giving his prestigious Purple Cap, awarded to the top wicket-taker in the Indian Premier League, to a young fan. Bumrah also signed the autograph for the young fan.
The fan was overjoyed to receive Bumrah’s prized possession and autograph, as evidenced by his ecstatic expressions and celebration. Receiving this special gift from one of the world’s best bowlers was truly an unforgettable memory for the fan.
Bumrah has been the top wicket-taker this season so far, scalping 14 wickets in 10 matches at an average of 18.28 and an economy of 6.40, with best figures of 5/21. However, despite Bumrah’s strong bowling performances, MI are ninth in the standings with just three wins and seven losses.
