Ayodhya: A major accident took place on Prayagraj Highway in Ram Nagri Ayodhya on Thursday morning. The Bolero of devotees coming for darshan from Madhya Pradesh collided directly with a tractor, in which three people died. 8 have also been injured in this accident. The accident happened near Kalyan Bhadarsa village of Purakalandar area. According to the police, the driver had fallen asleep, due to which the Bolero collided head-on. The driver is also included among the dead.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also taken cognizance of this incident. Also expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased. The CM has instructed the officials to immediately reach the spot and speed up the relief work and provide proper treatment to the injured.

Chitrasen, a resident of Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, was coming to Ayodhya in Bolero with his family. There were a total of 11 people in the jeep. Near Purakalandar, around 5 in the morning, the driver suddenly dozed off. Whose Bolero collided with the tractor coming from the front. The head-on collision was so severe that 8 devotees were thrown out of the car. While three remained trapped inside. All three were seriously injured. There was hue and cry on the spot after the accident. Everyone was taken to the nearby CHC. Three devotees died here.

Purakalandar police station in-charge Manoj Sharma told that Bolero was coming to Ayodhya from Sultanpur. The driver of the Bolero suddenly fell asleep. This is why the accident happened. Three people have died in the accident. The remaining 8 people have been referred to the district hospital after first aid from the CHC draft.
