India vs South Africa: The fourth T20I to be played between India and South Africa in Lucknow was canceled due to fog. The fog was so dense that in the fourth T20I match at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, not even a single ball could be played, let alone a toss. Now the big question in such a situation is what happened to the audience's money? Will they get it or will the money be wasted? What are BCCI's rules regarding this? The wait went on for 3 hours in Lucknow.

In an effort to somehow clear the fog and allow the match to begin. But when no solution was found, it was finally cancelled, after which the fans returned home disappointed.

What are the rules for refund of ticket money in case of match cancellation?

Now the question is what about the refund of ticket money? Will fans get money? BCCI has 2 rules regarding this. The first rule says that if a match is canceled without even a single ball being bowled, then in that case the entire money will be returned to the cricket fans after deducting the ticket booking fee. The second rule says that if the match starts and is canceled later due to weather, then in that case no ticket money will be refunded.

Lucknow T20 cancelled, has people's money been wasted?

After knowing the BCCI rules regarding refund of ticket money, Lucknow fans do not feel there is any need to be disappointed. Even though they may be disappointed at not being able to watch the match, their money is safe. They were not wasted because the T20I match in Lucknow was canceled without even a single ball being bowled.
