Lucknow: Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 55th match was played between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai won this match by 7 wickets and this is their fourth win this season. Star batsman Suryakumar Yadav played an excellent innings for MI and scored a century. In this match, MI captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first and while batting first, scored 173 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
While chasing the target of 174 runs, Mumbai's innings faltered at one time and they lost 3 wickets for 31 runs. However, after this Yadav and young batsman Tilak Verma together took charge. There was an unbeaten partnership of 143 runs on 79 balls between these two players. Mumbai won on the basis of this partnership only. Surya scored an unbeaten 102 runs while playing a century in this match. During this period, 12 fours and 6 sixes came from his bat. This is the second century of his IPL career.
