Lucknow: India's star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has created history in T-20 cricket. He is the first player from India to achieve this feat in this format. Let us tell you that Chahal has completed his 350 wickets in this format of cricket and he is the first spinner of India to do so. He achieved this feat during the match played against Delhi Capitals (DC) at Arun Jaitley Stadium. The star spinner dismissed DC captain Rishabh Pant to reach this milestone.

Let us tell you that in this match, Chahal bowled 4 overs and took 1 wicket for 48 runs and with this he became the first Indian bowler to take 350 wickets. The 33-year-old has played 80 T20I matches for India so far, in which he has taken 96 wickets. So while playing 156 matches in IPL, he has taken 201 wickets in his name. Apart from this, he has taken 53 wickets while playing in domestic cricket and has now reached the top of this list.
If we talk about Indian bowlers in terms of taking most wickets in T-20 cricket, then Mumbai Indians' experienced spinner Piyush Chawla is at second place. Chawla has taken 310 wickets in his name. So at number three is veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who has taken a total of 306 wickets in his T20 career so far.
Chahal's name is also in the team of ICC T-20 World Cup 2024 to be jointly hosted by West Indies and USA. However, it will be very difficult whether he will get a place in the playing eleven or not. Let us tell you that even though he is the highest wicket-taker in this format, till now he has not been able to play a single match in the T20 World Cup. Let us tell you that before this he did not get a place in the 2021 T20 World Cup and after that in 2022 he did not get a chance to play in even a single match.
